Who Makes Ashley Sleep?
Ashley Sleep is our signature mattress brand, produced only by Ashley Furniture Industries. We manufacture most Ashley Sleep mattresses in the U.S. Ashley Furniture Industries manufacturing and distribution facilities are in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, California, Mississippi, Indiana, North Carolina, and Florida. Some Ashley factories are also in Asia, particularly Vietnam and China.
Does Ashley Furniture Mattress Have Fiberglass?
Some previous Ashley Sleep mattresses contained fiberglass. Fiberglass is a durable fire barrier commonly used in the furniture industry. Our current Ashley Sleep mattresses, including the Gruve, Align, Chime, and Essentials collections, do not contain fiberglass.
Today, you'll find fiberglass-free hybrid, innerspring, memory foam, and gel options to meet your sleep preferences. The body of the most recent Ashley Sleep mattresses is made with polyester and other durable synthetic fibers. Here are some common materials you'll find:
- Filament Poly: A durable fabric made with long strings of polyester
- Para-Aramid Fiber: A stiff, strong material with high heat resistance properties
- Viscose/rayon: A semi-synthetic fiber crafted from natural sources of wood cellulose
- Spandex/Lycra: A synthetic elastic fabric
- Polyethylene: A light, flexible synthetic resin
